A Comparative Market
Analysis (CMA)
is an informal assessment of a property's
market value. A Broker, Real Estate Agent or Realtor®
does this evaluation to establish a reasonable listing price before a
property is put on the market for sale.

The listing price is determined by comparing the subject property to similar properties
in the area that have sold within the
past year. Sellers can use a CMA to help determine a fair market value for
their property. Buyers can use a CMA to help them decide what to offer on
a listing they would like to buy. |
